Digital Lies (Extended Mix) is a hand-numbered, strictly limited to 250 copies 12″ vinyl release, remixed in the spirit of 80s 12″ mixes, with artwork to match. This is the digital download version of the record.
Side A is the extended mix of Digital Lies, the title track from the 2013 album of the same name. This extended mix has nearly three minutes of extra material, remixed from the original master sessions. Hear the song in an entirely new way!
Side B has the original album version of Digital Lies, as well as a Movie Mix of the epic album closer Battle Of Venarium. This mix takes out all of the drums and guitars and focuses on all of the epic orchestral elements of the song.

Liner Notes: LT: “I’ve always loved extended mixes, even as far back when I was a teenager buying my first Duran Duran record. It’s long been a goal of mine to not only release an extended version of one of our songs, but actually do it on 12″ vinyl, which is exactly what we did. This remix is one of my favourite tracks from the Digital Lies sessions.”

Reigning down this shadowed form, resurrection god reborn
Illusions of a grand empire, mocking this now dead desire
Liner Notes: LT: “When I mix songs, I often mute certain sections so I can concentrate on a particular area to get it sounding right. In the process you often hear a side of a song that seems to be a shame to let go to waste. One such song was ‘Battle of Venarium’ – while I was working on the orchestration, I had the metal part of the song muted and it struck me how much like a movie soundtrack it sounded.”
